A bold evolution from the band's 2018 full-length debut "Anthem Of The Peaceful Army", "The Battle At Garden's Gate" came together primarily on the road or while in the studio after the runaway success of 2017's "Highway Tune" led to the band packing up, leaving home, and eagerly soaking up new experiences on an extended road trip around the world. Rejuvenated, Greta returned to the heavier side of The Battle at Gardens Gate with a cathartic rendition of Age of Machine. In an audience of ages eight through 80, even the oldest fans in front of me werent sitting down anymore. Especially the lyrics "To strange horizons", since that was the name of the tour and the name of the GVF beer that was available at the show and through Southern Gist Brewing Co in Nashville.
